We’re always striving to make our interactive online courses affordable to as many users as possible, and we believe we’ve just achieved this – again! – with our new membership options. For a limited time, VAT and all taxes are now included in our prices, so don’t miss out!

Our last pricing change brought monthly premium memberships (‘Filmmaker’, ‘Showrunner’, ‘Storyteller’) in addition to discounts based on a pay-what-you-can tier system for the one-year access. While it made our online courses more affordable, it also made our offer a bit complex. We recently had the opportunity to do something about this, so…

Here is how we are simplifying our pricing:

1. The one-year access becomes a yearly subscription. When purchasing the course, you can choose between a monthly and a yearly access, which simplifies everything.
2. In addition to asking support, you can now cancel your membership yourself from your account on the website. The new menu option Membership / Your Subscriptions page shows all your memberships.
3. It is still possible to cancel your membership right after purchase if you don’t want an automatic renewal. All our premium courses can be done in less than a month, especially if you do the preparation before you start the subscription, so this gives a lot of flexibility.
4. We have removed our tier-based system for the one-year access (now yearly subscription). However, the lowest tier (previously suggested for students / unemployed) is now accessible to everyone. This yearly subscription level is called ‘Essential’ and still represents a 70% discount over the ‘Standard’ yearly subscription. Finally, we’ve added a new ‘Advanced’ yearly subscription level (please see below).
5. The main differentiation between membership levels is that monthly memberships and ‘Essential’ yearly memberships don’t include one-to-one feedback, while ‘Standard’ yearly memberships include one FREE script chat per billing cycle (two for ‘Storytellers’), and ‘Advanced’ yearly memberships include one FREE advanced script chat per billing cycle (again, two for ‘Storytellers’).

Selecting one membership will give you more details as well as all the purchasing options (monthly or yearly) for that membership. NOTE: Until we reach capacity, VAT and all taxes are now INCLUDED in the price.

New Membership Options

In addition to free registration, which gives access to all the free resources on the website, we still have three membership levels providing access to premium content, except they can now be selected on a monthly basis (no one-to-one feedback) or a yearly basis (optional one-to-one feedback): ‘Showrunner‘ (from $77/month) unlocks the TV Series course and the TV series case studies; ‘Filmmaker‘ (from $97/month) unlocks the Advanced Script Development course and the feature film case studies; ‘Storyteller‘ (from $167/month) unlocks all the online courses and all the case studies (both film and TV).

With a bit of strategic planning, it’s possible to complete each course for as little as $77 and $97 respectively, especially if preparation is completed before starting each subscription. Organised and dedicated members might even manage to do the two courses back to back for just $167!

Even if members take their time and need up to three months to complete the course, they would still be saving money compared to purchasing an “Essential” yearly membership, with the convenience of monthly payments.

Full Breakdown of What’s Included

All premium memberships can be cancelled at any time, either by contacting support at least 2 business days before the renewal date, or directly from your account from the Membership / Your Subscriptions page, which shows all your memberships. Members keep access to the included course(s) until the end of the current billing cycle. This means that members can dip in and out of the course(s) according to their availability, or move from one course to the next, which makes this new way of accessing our online courses very flexible.

Purchasing a one-year access for each course now becomes a yearly membership. It offers better value for those who prefer to have permanent access for more than three months and don’t mind paying for the course upfront.

Selecting the ‘Standard’ yearly membership allows members who complete the course to claim a FREE Script Chat (30 minutes, US$795 value) per billing cycle, which makes it a great option for those who would like to get one-to-one feedback on their project or ask any questions about the course content or script developpment.

Those who would like more in-depth feedback can select the ‘Advanced’ yearly membership, which allows members who complete the course to claim a FREE Advanced Script Chat (90 minutes, US$1,135 value) per billing cycle.
